and the Healing Journey:
An Astrological and Psychological Perspective
Now considered the definitive original text on the subject, this book gives
detailed, thoroughly researched information on Chiron's mythology, its placement
through the houses and signs, as well as aspects to the major planets. Includes
Chiron ephemerides from 1900 to 2030.
Chiron, once a celestial anomaly, is now in a class of its own. In the early
1990s, exciting discoveries within astronomical science yielded a new category
of objects - THE CENTAURS. Chiron is considered the prototypical representative
of this group which comprises the short-orbit comets that cross the orbital
paths of the planets from Saturn through Neptune. The symbolism of this is
perfect, as Chiron stands for that luminous thread of consciousness which links
the different levels of the inner and outer dimensions of our human experience,
helping us to make sense of our suffering in a deeply personal way, and thus
to release our attachment to it.
This book is a classic of original thinking, inspiration, depth of astrological
experience and careful research. It has more than stood the test of time, and
is appreciated by an ever-growing number of astrologers whose focus is upon
the soul's unfoldment through life experience, bitter or sweet. This book has
addressed and accompanied the healing journey of many thousands of people all
over the world, and has been translated into in five languages.

The Four Angles and the Moon's Nodes
This volume explores the two fundamental axes which refer to our incarnation
in the world -- the Angles and the Nodes of the Moon. Like other factors of
the birth chart, their meaning covers many dimensions, inner and outer.
In Part One, The Four Angles, the reader is taken on a journey around the angles,
considering their element, mode, and accompanying natal and transiting planets,
as well as an illuminating presentation of the astronomy involved. Traditional
interpretations of their meaning and symbolism are augmented by the fresh and
original perspectives characteristic of Melanie’s teaching style, which
focuses on evoking personal insight as much as conveying information or technique.
There is a guided imagery exercise which can be followed by the reader, designed
to further personalise and deepen the material.
Part Two, The Moon’s Nodes, contemplates basic principles by considering
the interrelationship of the Sun, Moon, and Earth in space. Established ideas
about the interpretation of the Nodes are reviewed and sometimes challenged.
The imagery of the dragon is considered, along with Draconic astrology, a case
study; the psychological processes connected with eclipses are discussed. This
book will surely inspire new understanding of the Nodes.

Chiron and the Centaurs:
To the Edge and Beyond
Melanie Reinhart's groundbreaking work on Chiron helped open the eyes of the
astrological world to its importance in understanding individual and collective
experiences of suffering, and the potential for distilling wisdom and healing
from those situations which cause us the greatest pain.
In this volume, she explores both the importance of Saturn as the boundary
between individual and collective realities, and also brings exciting new insights
about Chiron and the 'Centaurs', the newly discovered small objects lying between
the orbits of Saturn and Pluto. These 'messengers' from deep space refer to
experiences of transpersonal reality, and act as energies of integration.
Saturn, Chiron and the Centaurs offers intuitive perspectives, backed up by
solid case material, in a lively seminar format. Includes an ephemeris of the
Centaurs Pholus and Nessus. This book offers profound new insights into the
mystery of human suffering as reflected in the symbolism of the horoscope.
